Labor & Adornment: Radical Craft @ Superhouse

I’m excited to have work included in Labor & Adornment: Radical Craft, a group exhibition at Superhouse in New York. The show brings together artists working across wood, fiber, glass, ceramic, and basketry who approach craft as a living language shaped through material and process.

Opening Reception
Thursday, March 19
6–8 PM

RSVP to the opening reception here.

The exhibition explores two guiding ideas: adornment and labor. Ornament appears as a coded vocabulary through which surface expresses lineage, taste, and belonging. Labor becomes visible through repetition, restraint, and finish, revealing the care and time embedded in material practice. Together these approaches highlight the cultural, social, and historical meanings carried within craft.

Exhibition on view:
March 19 – April 25, 2026

Artists included:
Aspen Golann, Cal Siegel, Colin Knight, Dotan Appelbaum, Jonny Campolo, Liz Collins, Maris Van Vlack, Sarita Westrup, Sophie Stone, Syd Carpenter, Tom Loeser, Wendy Maruyama
