RISD Furniture Dept: Artist Talk

RISD Furniture Design invites you to a talk by faculty member Aspen Golann

@aspen_golann is an artist & furniture maker blending furniture with sculpture and social practice. Through the manipulation of iconic American furniture forms, Aspen’s work explores gender and power. She teaches furniture design at RISD and at craft workshops internationally, and holds a degree from The North Bennet Street School. Aspen is also the founder of The Chairmaker’s Toolbox, an initiative designed to create pathways for marginalised makers into traditional craft practices.
